RE: Tenth Floor Invoices
Dear Ms. Saks and Directors:
Thank you, Ms. Saks, for sending me the invoices pertaining to the Tenth Floor repairs.
They do indeed confirm that materials were never ordered when Ms. Fitzpatrick said they were, and I accept your statement that you don't know why.
I think it is important to bring issues like this to the BOD's attention. The bottom line is, somebody dropped the ball on Ten. Now that the BOD has conclusive proof it was lied to, perhaps in the future situations like this can be avoided, resulting in less pain for all involved.
Ms. Saks, I am forwarding the following to you - it is part of the post now on www.Galaxyfacts.com.
Also, as for an explanation, I believe Ms. Saks was sincere and honest when she stated at the meeting materials were never ordered when Ms. Fitzpatrick said they were, and she doesn't know why. Ms. Fitzpatrick said they were ordered in December, and I have the memo to prove it, and, as I said at the BOD meeting, that is a bald-faced lie. And that ain't semantics, honey.
So - since I first spoke before the BOD 94 days ago, I have received some answers to my questions, but not all.
Shall we review?
• I have received the invoices and I accept the explanation.
• The carpet and wallcovering has been installed on Ten. I love them.
So it comes as no surprise that now, after 9 months of living in a hellhole...
now, that the new carpet is down and it looks great...
now, that the wallcoverings are fresh and clean...
now, that I do not have to don a haz-mat suit and hold my nose as I walk from the elevators to my apartment...
now, the BOD has decided in all its brilliance to tear it up and replace it.
I feel I should let you know that if you intend to do this in front of my door, you will have to pry the carpet from my cold, dead hands.
• I am still waiting for the verdict on Compensation. Ms. Haase and perhaps some of the other Directors appeared to have little or no understanding of what Compensation is, and erroneously consigned it as something that falls under ADR. I believe I cleared this up at the August 23 BOD meeting, and I await your answer.
• I am still waiting for my response from Mr. Buckalew on ADR.
Once again, Ms. Saks, I thank you for the invoices, and I look forward to hearing from the BOD and Mr. Buckalew about my remaining issues.
Sincerely,
Luane Spingola |
